There are now over seven billion people inhabiting the Earth represented by the human figure atop a crumbling land mass. It is significant that now the dominant creature of the planet, man, is consuming and polluting the planet in a manner in which it cannot be sustained. Our only hope is the recognition that we do not have all the answers. As he bows in prayer, seeking a better way, the birds underneath are the hope of a spiritual renewal.
